Biography
Dr. Kianinejad joined Palm Beach Atlantic University as an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences upon completing her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University, where her research specialized in developing nanovesicle-based drug delivery systems for cancer treatment. Her innovative work includes the formulation and characterization of niosomes as nanovesicle carriers to deliver the lipophilic model drug for cancer treatment and comparative stability studies with liposomes.
With a background in chemical engineering and extensive research experience, Dr. Kianinejad has published in several peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. She brings valuable experience from her roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Nova Southeastern University, where her dedication to advancing pharmaceutical sciences was matched by her passion for teaching.
At Palm Beach Atlantic University, Dr. Kianinejad is excited to contribute to the department’s academic and research mission, mentor students and collaborate on impactful research initiatives.
